A hospital day

Chemo Cycle 3 has begun! We had our pre-admit appointment with lab work and doctor visit, followed by a covid test on Tuesday and checked into the hospital Wednesday morning.

This is the 3rd cycle. Each cycle has started with the pre-admit and then an “in patient” day. Then week 2 and 3 have one day clinic visits at the hospital with lab work and chemo. The in patient day starts early and finishes very late.

It’s tough to describe everything involved in our in patient day. I thought trying to share some pictures of the day may help.

  1. Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. It’s so great the way they help her to be comfortable. It will be over soon. You all hang in there!💞💖😘😘

  2. You are so courageous and brave! Your mom and dad are also courageous and brave!!! I am so very thankful that you have such wonderful people who help navigate such an awful process!

  3. Thank you for sharing. Lord Jesus, I pray this awful process of chemo kills all cancer cells and that it never returns. Please Father, May these days root your love into Joanna’s heart for eternity, and May she respond with an outpouring of your love for her whole, long, life. Please give her parents a cushion… so that when they are at their emotional and physical and mental brink, you work miracles and give them new energies and resilience. Thank you for Joanna’s life. Thank you for her parents’ love. May they see you dappling the canvas of their life with your light and your beauty. Pleas bless all those loving on them. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

  4. Excellent pics to document the day! Chemo IS exhausting!! Glad you 3 can all be together for the experience. Love and hugs to you all! ❤️
