Here’s a glimpse of our Thursday.
Not pictured: Morgan attending a couple of work meetings from his desk in the back room, Joanna watching TV, and Jessica taking advantage of our supply of barf bags and sleeping.
Also not pictured: the collective relief when the Cancer Center called to say that there was a problem with the radiation machine and they needed to cancel Joanna’s treatment for the day. Being able to stay on the couch and keep watching TV (Joanna), at the desk and keep working (Morgan), and in the bed and sleeping (Jessica) was quite a treat on this day.
Waking up to a dead fish isn’t fun. It was tough to say goodbye to Midnight. Daddy’s turn to be the patient. His care required a driver, so we all 3 went to the appointment. These come in handy for Mama sometimes. When Mama (the teacher) is out with a migraine, this book comes in handy. So thankful for deliveries from friends. We now understand the hype about the Cunningham Peaches. See’s Candies. Sometimes chocolate does help. Sometimes escaping to the island is a great plan.
Sometimes a cleared schedule is the best gift.
See’s always helps! 🙂 So thankful you could have a day like this. Hugs
Precious Joanna and awesome mom and dad.
I am sure all of you needed a day like this.Loved the pictures. Love and Hugs to all of you.
